System health

In order to successfully relay any alerts or notifications, the entire SENSE4BOAT sytem needs to be set up properly.

On the System health screen, you can check whether your sensors are working properly. A list of the last 10 received messages also contains the network signal strength for that sensor on the right.

Should a sensor fail to send a scheduled message to your SENSE4BOAT application, its system health will drop – notifying you of a potential irregularity in its work.

During navigation

While you are in navigation, system health can drop considerably. This is because your sensors might not be able to relay messages while you are outside the marina. This is completely normal and should not be cause for alarm.
